    I bought this product to apply under the soles of my feet. Lots of friends recommended it, especially since I haven’t slept well for over 20 years and have pain everywhere. I tested it for 4 nights. It’s true that I slept a little more (3–4 hours), which for me is huge! But it triggered something like dyshidrosis — my whole soles peeled in thick layers!!! Horrible and very painful, felt like burns. Normally I have very tough skin, never had this in my life (I’m 50). Too bad, because I think it could have helped stabilize my sleep, but I can’t continue.

    Ours came with the cap and was packaged okay. It wasn’t super sticky. A bit sticky when applied, but not too bad. The spray worked fine. Does it help with sleep? I don’t think so. Maybe placebo, but even that’s better than nothing, so if it works that way it’s still a win. But I don’t think it makes a big difference for sleep when so many other factors influence it more.

    I have been wanting to use magnesium for a while now and this is what I went for. It came without a lid and leaked a little bit, a bit messy. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but I sprayed it on my shoulder and upper back and rubbed it in. It does stain clothing because of the oil. A little later I noticed I wasn’t as tense as before. Before bed, I showered and rubbed it on my calves, back, and bottoms of my feet, then put socks on. I was asleep within 20 minutes and didn’t wake up once, felt like I barely blinked but woke up well rested and ready by 8 am. I’d like to record my sleep with my camera and Apple Watch to track better and will update sleep quality. Helpful tips: it can feel gritty and sticky, it’s better to apply after a shower so it absorbs better. On the feet with socks it feels most comfortable texture-wise. You’ll need to wash it off to remove stickiness. I did get an itchy stinging feeling for a bit, but it went away. I read that it’s because the body is deficient in magnesium, which causes the reaction. I really liked this right away minus the stickiness, and it seemed to help with muscle tension.

    I bought this because I was having a problem with my TMJ. It was very painful and it was spreading to my ear. I started rubbing the magnesium oil all around my jaw and ear. I think I just had a muscle spasm because the magnesium relaxed it and now I have no pain. I have a tendency to grind my teeth so that’s probably how it happened.
